Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): To enhance user account security, we strongly recommend enabling MFA. This feature requires two or more forms of identification, such as a password and a code sent to your phone, to access your account. By adding this extra layer of protection, the risk of unauthorized access is significantly reduced, even if a password is compromised.
- Log in to your account.
- Click the gear icon to navigate to your account settings.
- Under Account, Click on “Manage Security” and select “Multi-Factor Authentication”
- Click on the toggle to setup MFA.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your phone number and activate MFA.
Email Verification: To ensure the integrity of user accounts and prevent unauthorized access, we may require email verification. This process involves confirming your email address by clicking on a verification link sent to your inbox. By verifying your email, you help to protect your account from unauthorized use.
- If email verification is required, you will be presented a verification screen during onboarding
- Check your inbox for an email from Woebot Health with the subject line “Woebot Verification Code”
- Enter the six digit verification code found in the email into the verification screen.
- If you haven’t received a verification code or need to update your email address, you can click the “Resend Code” or “Update Email” buttons.
- If successful, you’ll see a banner message confirming that your email address has been verified.
Face ID: For added convenience and security, you can enable biometric lock on your device. This feature allows you to unlock your account using your fingerprint or facial recognition, eliminating the need to remember and enter a password. Biometric lock provides a fast and secure way to access your account while reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
- Click the gear icon to navigate to your account settings.
- Under Account, Click on “Manage Security” and select “Face ID”
- Click on the toggle to setup Face ID.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to scan your face and set up Face ID.
Password Reset: If you forget your password, you can easily reset it by clicking the “Forgot your password?” link on the Sign In screen and following the password reset instructions provided. Simply enter your email address, and we’ll send you a link to reset your password. This feature ensures that you can always regain access to your account, even if you forget your password.
To receive an email containing password reset instructions, the reset email must match the email on your account. Once your password is reset, select the Sign in button to access your account.
- Navigate to the account Sign In screen for Woebot.
- Click on the “Forgot your password?” link.
- Enter your email address in the provided field.
- Click on the “Reset” button.
- Check your inbox for an email with the subject line “Woebot Account Password Reset”
- Click on the “Reset password” button in the email and follow the instructions to create a new password.
Return to the Sign In screen in the mobile app and enter your new password
